St. Petersburg Pier is a long pier that extends into Tampa Bay located at 600 2nd Ave NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. Over the years, different structures have been built here. Today, it’s one of the city’s most popular attractions. But, the history of the pier goes back much further. There have been countless changes to the pier and its surrounding areas.
The current incarnation of the St. Pete Pier was designed by Rogers Partners and is a landmark of downtown St. Petersburg and an integral part of its urban planning. It’s a destination for tourists and the local community, and it honors the Pier’s heritage while establishing a new icon for a 21st century public place. The project features a five-level building with restaurants, retail shops, and a rooftop bar. It also includes an education center and a casual dining pavilion. The construction team took great care to ensure that the new St. Petersburg Pier is environmentally friendly.
